Robert Olausen is the recipient of the Fidelity Law Association’s 2023 Diversity,  Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Award.
 
Bob has consistently strived to open the doors of the Fidelity world to a larger and more diverse group of people, not only to advance their careers but also to bring their experience and insight to the knowledge base. His individual efforts to advance diversity in the Fidelity industry have been especially notable with respect to professionals of color and female professionals. We received numerous testimonials of how he encouraged individuals and showed his appreciation for their valuable contributions to the Fidelity industry.
 
Bob Olausen is a former Director of Fidelity of the Surety Association of America (now Surety & Fidelity Association of America) from 1979 to 1997, and was a Principal of the Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) now Verisk from 1997 to early 2023. In addition, he served as President of the Fidelity Law Association from 2016 to 2019.
